why does the browser (doesn't matter which one) stop finding the site after 20 minutes or so? i''ve even found a dns server from germany instead of using the provided one by the isp.

any suggestions?

i think u are talking about this site (i hope)
1. this is not a paysite - hence i cannot provide the uptime required
2. the service i use to bounce the IP has continuous outages (its also a free service)

well i think goga.dhis.org might not be in service in a few hour - i just noticed many authentication failures - this means i migh tnot be able to update the Ip for the site

what this means: it is possible that goga.dhis.org will no longer be found

if thats the case for you please use http://gogafetish.com/forums/ i will be trying to find out if goga.dhis.org can be back online (i donated to them a while back and they promised lifetime account)

Some more bad news.
it seems that some people marked the forum emails as spam, so i got blacklisted by many mailservers.

what this means: the people that have my emails blacklisted will no longer have an account here. FUCK YOU TOO
what this means for people that are bystanders - well if ur domain is blacklisting my mail then i will just suspend the account untill toy email me and request a mailchange or do it yourself.
what this means for people who dont have an account - if your webmail (mail} is listed below you will NOT be able to register. thank the people who clicked the 'spam button' . i can still make you an account. justt email me and hopefully i will be able to email you back.

are rejecting any emails sent by the forum (people using these emails WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER). if u use any of those in the forum account change it before i remove the accounts. i dont think the blacklist is temporary so more hoops to jump through. i am always looking for a solution, but unles i find another mailserver this will be status quo.

serves me right? maybe... i got blacklistef before... but then again noone forced you to register. and if u marked my mails as spam, well too bad for you, you will no longer be able to register.

1. need to find an expert in MySQL remote backups - i basically need to set up a script so that SQL databases are backed up, gzipped and uploaded off-site somewhere in case of next disk mulfunction which happened to me already many times.

and here we have a pretty busy site, its just hard to back up 17GB wirth of data OR recover it after drive goes to shit and system wont even boot (linux)

yesterday i tried to optimise the connection a bit and dhis.org servers were a little fussy.

who should care? well if you donated and currently have access then you should care.
untill i get somehow a server in a permanent line (to have at least a dynamic resolution) problems might appear, dhis has been reliable for many years so hopefully it will work in the future also.

more major problems this time i think i wont be able to solve it.

i am glad tfind my way back the end of august since my pc took a giant crap and i lost everything on it and even the addresses of this and some of my favorite places to go. it is hard to find your way back when things change on some forums. i like this forum alot.

For the last few months I always have problems getting to the site. The server doesn't respond. (Times out) The only way I am able to access the site is by using a proxy. I've noticed it takes around 7-10 days before I am able to direct connect. That lasts for about 3-4 days before I am forced to use a proxy again to access the site. For example right now I am using a proxy as with out it I get no response from the server.
If anyone has any idea what could be causing this please let me know. If not that is cool also as I don't mind using a proxy but they are getting harder and harder to find.
BTW I have already tried clearing my cache and clearing my DNS records in my firewall. Also it doesn't matter what browser I use, I get the same result.

once again a little problems with DNS... i think i resolved this by increasing the number of requests my nameserver can handle... seems to work better this time.. but will see.

still cant seem to fix this weird nameserver problem, so i will try to make another server and see if it works. plus i am tired by stupid attempts to acess the server - listen people i DONT allow root acess at all. so blame the .cn domain for the problems... i'll fix this as soon as i can (today +3 days). it turns out that even on the net there are no experts in the software that i run, so problem becomes mine and mine only... i'll figure something out.
