this discussion relates to the forum Rules posted here
http://dyn1.gogafetish.com/forums/Rules_Fo...buting-t81.html

this is of course for those that bothered to read all of our guidelines and somehow attempted to follow them but got misunderstood or misinterpreted or feel generally offended by the treatment by moderators that seem to "Constantly delete most stuff you post"

- Do tell us what is not clear in the rules section so we can improve/rewrite them to be more direct or informative or easy to understand. pelase quote the rule text and your interpretation or it so we can give a clear reply to you and to all those interested in this.

- If you feel that some rule is too complex - QUOTE IT, point it out so we can rewrite it.

- It seems to me that there happened some kind of <<loss of sync>> between the moderators as there seems to be major differences in peoples responces. if you are a moderator and unsure how to apply a spesific rule to a specific post (do give an example) this way i can close the questions and improper interpretations.

Purpose for this topic is to erase any misunderstandings between those who post and moderators. also is to do preventive maintenance and inform people that rules do exist and they are very soft from taboo board standpoint and i really hate useless bickering on my turf. so here is your chance to get questions answered that were not answered in other topics or people were too lazy read all the other help topics.

shit like this is not allowed...clear?

maybe suggestions?

If all posters read the rules, and then followed them when posting, the moderators would have very little to do in the way of housekeeping.

Actually we would prefer not to have to keep the board clean. We'd rather post good, better and best material.

Help us help you, people. Read the rules. Read the help sections. Post the kind of material that you want to see.....others will want to see it as well. Then the entire forum improves.

PeterWood,

Based on Pavel's post, scolding moderators to ease up on erasing posts, I sumbit the following answer:

1. In the bobbie.model thread, there were TWO pictures posted of bobbie wearing a mesh top, with nipples clearly visible. Upon seeing them I asked if someone had that set. If I'm not mistaken, sempra replied, with the set (download link). The download link was not working so I informed sempra of it. Severeal hours later, the posted link and my reply were gone. Based on the board's rules, we are asked NOT to upload anything that looks less than 15 years old. I understand why the link (download) and my reply were erased, but why are the two original pics of her in the mesh still in the topic. Doesn't make sense to me. Either it's allowed or not. If not allowed, then ALL references should be deleted.

2. I replied to a post regarding a model's socks (taking them off and licking the toes). That was erased as well. I don't mind, but clearly the model looked over 15 - MONA.

I'm not asking for free reign to post whatever I want. You guys (Goga) own the board and foot the bills. Just keep the moderation even keeled. If you post rules, then we follow them. And when we do, well......

I will follow the rules either way, but just stay on the same sheet of music.

What else do you want to know that we don't understand????

Within the past few months . . .

I have taken to making a small note (in red) on the bottom of every post that I have changed or deleted, both so that the Admin and the poster will know exactly why?

If a post was "edited" for content, grammar, spelling, whatever . . . it is noted.
If pics are edited or deleted for underage content . . . it is stated, as to why.

I sometimes, send the poster a PM, to better clarify the rules.

I agree, with the Admin and PeteWood . . . Read the Rules and Comply.

I don't have any questions with the rules, but I do have a question about deleted posts. I know thats covered in another thread but since this thread is active I thought I'd stick it here.
If someone posts a HUGE set in a certain section and it takes them forever to upload, only for the next time they log in and its gone for whatever reason, it would be nice to receive a PM explaining why, without us having to bother a mod. smile.gif

you read photo guidelines right? if still not sure before uploading huge sets ASK a moderator, or admins. you did that right?

everything is explainied already. some photos are more liked than others
but when you say oh my huge set eas deleted it will be nice for you to provide an example so i can give you a better answer is to why that particular set was deleted instead of wasting time guessing.

Pavel, let me step in here one moment. I have an example of posts that were deleted, then added back again. Look in the bobbie.model thread and there you will see where vralak replied to my question as to why a post was removed. Later, the post of bobbie (along with the link to her set) were restored.

Hope this helps, and now I steppeth off of the soapbox!

I just thought people would feel a bit more appreciated if they got a short PM saying "your thread was deleted for such and such reason". I don't expect that for every deleted post, but the ones where you know people have spent a bit of time uploading.

I relally don't understand why for example the older Sandra pics (nearly nude!!) are allowed and full clothed pictures of younger girls are forbidden... And please tell me a country where pictures of full clothed young girls are forbidden!

Goga and Pavel are very specific kind of Admins you guys. I would suggest you really think about your posts before you post. I have gone round and round with them publicly and privately about a great many things. In the end, I would suggest going over the rules, Picking out what is not clear to you, and making that your question or questions. Other than that, I have learned that nothing is going to change, Except maybe your post status or account....... biggrin.gif

I think goga started this thread to try and understand what is not being made clear..AND THAT IS ALL.

Some people had different ideas of what 15 looks like. but goga and pavel DO NOT.

they are on the same page on that matter. So if I were you guys, I would maybe post 1 set if your doing a rip, or maybe 10 pics of a set if your posting a page of thumbnails, wait for the green light, and continue forward, or atleast you didnt waste all your time on a gamble, If it is Deleted.

that is my 25 cents. ph34r.gif

Has any member yet quoted a rule which they don't understand?

This topic was started to improve communication between mods and members. This can only lead to better understanding of the rules on both sides.

Well? Come on guys and girls, talk to us. We're all on the same side, we want to constantly improve the site.

btw, there is not a rule yet that states we cannot use mega-upload. I was asked to use zshare to upload now by an admin. If I do that, i will no longer be able to get free account by megaupload, because zshare does not offer free premium status for certain amount of d/l's. I am close to 1 year membership for free with mega, but if the RULES CLEARLY STATE, that I MUST USE ZSHARE, or another upload server with no pop-ups or less pop-ups, I will do so. But my content will not be as big in these boards. As i post to get what i can, since i make no money in any of this, for time given.

zshare is preferable. but as not to confuse anyone i wont make it mandatory anytime soon

other services ex. rapidshit does popup if file is not present - an extra click is annoying.
i seen megaupload and rapidshit on the unwanted list of a few boards already.

So whats the dealio with *rapdshare- and linking with hxxp://rpdshre.com/file/whatever ... is this allowed or should I find some other service to upload the vids to?
It just that I saw in one post the links were disabled but not sure if it was because they were hot linked to rapdshare.
goga
delio is that too much waiting time and its a pay service,
use zshare.net

I know you cant post one lines post i.e
QUOTE(goga @ Aug 2 2004, 04:28 PM)
Examples of violations include, but are not limited to:[list=a]

[*] Replies like “Nice post.  Thanks!” “She’s Hott!!” “Wow what a great figure” etc.
Stuff like this adds absolutely nothing to the entertainment value of a topic. If we allowed this kind of post, pretty soon GogaTech would look like every other forum with one good story or pic post, and six hundred pages of “Wow! Cool! Thanks!”
recheck-IMG-tag-Code!
No one wants to see that stuff. Post the kind of material that YOU want to see….chances are others will want to see it also. If you absolutely must thank a member, use PM only.

But I remember replying to a post and starting it saying something along the lines of “I like your work mate keep up the good work.” but then continued about the subject asking questions. My post was not deleted but it was edited by a mod with first bit removed. I understand that if it was a one liner saying “Thanks” but was about 6 lines and not a pointless post. Is a thanks like that against the rules still, would I have to still PM him to say “I like your work mate keep up the good work.....”

BTW I have nothing against the rules just wondered if what I did was against the rules.
