I've recently decided to start using usenet again,,
i'm on a somewhat limited server..
what news groups do any of you use (those that know usenet).
don't recommend a server please as im not gonna pay for one..

i've seen posts refering to mclt. but it's not available..

Well if you don't get mclt then most likely you are not going to get any of the real good ones. But that also depends on what your looking for.
The good ones you will probly get are

a.b.pictures.youth-and-beauty
a.b.aoi

simply, it's kinda a cross between email and message boards, and in binary groups. software, images, movies etc are shared.. rather than using a web browser at a message board like this,, you use a news reader and read and post messages.. like email..

is a group where people share pictures and videos. Depending on who your usenet service provider depends on which groups they carry and how long the retention of messages stay on there server. Most stay around 1 month.

newsgroups-binaries.com is what i have been using for newsgroups. I can get most things such as ls-series, vladmodels binaries ect. i can not get youth-and-beauty unfortunately.

What newsgroups seem to be the best for the younger groups?

if you are inside the u.s. them alt.binaries.??? might be blocked by your isp .
